Kamloopa Pow Wow 2015
Tk'Emlups hosts one of Canada's Largest pow wows. People come from all Nations to watch or compete, creating memories of the dance they won, or pride in knowing that they are there - showing off to the world their talent, beauty and grace.
Hearing is only one sense, feeling the drum beat takes you to another world; A world where people lived a life steeped in traditions. A world of pride in each leap, bound and step you took in time with the drums; where you donned your best out fits to show of visually who you are - or who you want to be for that moment.
I have evolved in my creativity and skills since last years pow wow, this is something that I am very proud of. Coming home friday evening and looking at my computer screen of the images that I captured left my heart singing. To be able to show what I see and feel is a powerful gift that I am grateful to share with all of you.
